I have the TV off most days after Dakota goes to school until he wants it back on after homework and school.  Today,after school and just seconds before he was leaving with Mom for Catechism, akid  commercial aired so I tuned it out another level.  (BTW, if no Read More link is displayed after this post near Add Comments, please click the title above to read more)  This kind of falls into the BadAss DadAss category I Blogged about years ago on a different server.

Wrong!

It turned out to be a commercial advertising the 18th Annual All About Kids Expo and he wants to go bad it turns out.  I apologized quickly and Googled it to try and make amends

.  I brought up the first link displayed and pointed to the graphic while asking him if this was what he saw.

"Yes!! Can we go?"

So I asked Mom what we got going Saturday and she said the Cub Scouts Pine-wood Derby race at the clubhouse (again Dad Dad) is that day so I told Dakota we would go Sunday.

Instantly, I was again Dad Dad,luckily I got my get out of jail card free card, this one was sponsored by Google and we are good to go.  The Pine-wood Derby car is carved, painted and awaiting wheels and stickers, but that is a different story all together.  It is a custom weighted black pick-up/Hummer thing with Gothic Skulls and flames, boy things sure have changed since I last did Pine-wood Derby!

So there you have it, our weekend schedule!
